During the third quarter of 2022, the performance of the top Food and Drink applications on the Android platform in Kenya showcased some intriguing trends. The data provided by Sensor Tower offers valuable insights into weekly downloads and active users for these popular apps.

Jumia Food: Food Delivery saw a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at 6K in late June and peaking at 7.2K in early August, before fluctuating and ending the quarter at approximately 5.1K. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, with numbers hovering around 60K to 64K throughout the quarter.

Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway experienced a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Downloads started at 5.6K in late June, dropped to around 3.4K by the end of September. However, the active user count showed consistency, maintaining figures between 49K and 53K.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery had a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 2.2K in late June and gradually rising to around 2.8K by early September. The active user numbers for Uber Eats showed a positive trend, starting at 39K and peaking at 45K in early September, before slightly declining to 40K by the end of the month.
